The Bolton Bombers are Michael Bolton's softball team that
plays for charity. The team is made up of Michael Bolton, some members of his band and
crew, along with softball players. The Bombers play before or after concerts to generate
money for both 'The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc.' and local charities. The Bombers have
also been involved in a quite a few Celebrity Softball Games, most notably the Michael
Jordan Airforce Game in July, 1993 (Bombers won 7-1), the Barry Bonds' Superstars Game in
November, 1994 (Bombers won 29-17) and the Annual Celebrity Challenge in
Appleton, Wisconsin (1994-1998) where the Bombers played George Teague's All-Stars. The
Bombers also play every year at the Michael Bolton Celebrity Softball Game, usually held
in October and lately played at Bluefish Stadium, in Bridgeport, CT. The softball game is
held in conjuction with the Gala, and benefits 'The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc.'.
