Computers and the Internet |
I love computers! They
have changed my life. I have been online since early 1996, and the changes over the past
four years have just been amazing. I spend a lot of time on the computer, but not just
surfing the net, I love graphics programs, working on my webpages, desktop publishing,
even games sometimes :) |
Currently my favorite graphics programs
are PhotoImpact 5 (from Ulead) and Paint
Shop Pro 6 (from Jasc). I highly recommend both of
them. I've used PSP since about version 2 :) and it just keeps getting better. PI5 is my
newest toy, and I spend more time than I should playing with it :) I also like the Xara line, especially Webstyle. *Most* of my webpage graphics are made
with either Webstyle or PI5.

I have close to 100 webpages. They take up a lot of time, but I get a great deal of
pleasure working with them, so I consider it a fair trade :) Mainly I use Microsoft FrontPage 98, though I've started
to do a little experimenting with some of the free html editors- First Page is an exceptionally well done product. |

My Favorite Music |
I like almost all kinds of music,
but my favorites are adult contempory and country. Some of my favorite musicians are Garth
Brooks, Shania Twain, The Dixie Chicks, Lonestar, Savage Garden, Sarah McLachalan, Celine
Dion. But, of course, as anyone who knows me knows, my very favorite is Michael Bolton.
I've been a fan since 1989, when I heard "Soul Provider" for the first time.
I've been the webmaster of *Michael Bolton On The Net* since September of 1996.
I'm very proud of the site, I spend an extraordinary amount of time on it. I've
made a lot of friends through the MB connection, and that is probably the best thing about
being online. |
